A festive workshop for families, in a relaxed environment

Join us on stage to experience the magic of Christmas at one of London’s largest and most iconic West End theatres. For families with young children (7 – 11 years) this fun and festive workshop will uncover the story of the ballet through dance, mime and music inspired by English National Ballet’s magical new production of Nutcracker.

The Relaxed Families’ workshop is open to all families, particularly those who would benefit from a relaxed environment. The relaxed environment supports and accepts noise and movement within the auditorium during the workshop, there is access to a chill-out space outside of the auditorium, and re-entry as and when needed is allowed.

With an instantly recognisable score and wonderful choreography, Nutcracker holds special memories for all ballet lovers around the world. This is a perfect way to spend a morning as a family and enjoy some Christmas magic together, while learning some famous ballet steps and dancing on one of London’s great stages!

Experience level
No dance experience required!

All young dancers must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Ticket for one Adult and one Child: £25
Additional Child ticket: £10 (max. three)
Access Ticket Rate: £18 for one Adult and one Child*

*Access Rate Tickets are for Access Card holders. Don’t have one? Just get in contact with us, as we will need to send you our access form to complete before your arrival so we can best prepare to support you.

Recommended age range for children: 7 – 11 years (strictly minimum age 7 years)

Please note: An adult MUST attend this workshop with the child/children, as children cannot be admitted without an accompanying adult. You may attend with a maximum of 3 children to 1 adult, but we recommend 1 adult to 1 child, if possible, for full enjoyment. All participants, adults and children, MUST have their own ticket.
