Relaxed Family Ballet Workshop inspired by My First Ballet: Swan Lake

Family Ballet Workshops inspired by My First Ballet: Swan Lake for 2025 will go on sale on Wednesday 29 January at midday.

Enhance your show experience with our My First Ballet: Swan Lake relaxed workshop.

Experience the thrill of taking to the stage at the Peacock Theatre in our series of creative ballet workshops inspired by My First Ballet: Swan Lake.

This relaxed workshop is open to all families, particularly those who would benefit from a relaxed environment. The relaxed environment supports and accepts noise and movement within the auditorium during the workshop, there is access to a chill-out space outside of the auditorium, and re-entry as and when needed is allowed. This workshop also has a reduced capacity, to create a more sensory friendly environment. This relaxed workshop will happen after the relaxed performance of My First Ballet: Swan Lake which is taking place at 1:30pm on the same day.

Led by English National Ballet’s highly experienced Associate Dance Artists, these workshops created especially for children will explore the wonderful music, iconic swan-inspired movement, and famous characters of My First Ballet: Swan Lake. Participants will also have the chance to get up close to the beautiful costumes and production scenery!

The workshops are recommended for children aged 4 – 7, up to 11 years with access needs, and an adult participant must accompany the young dancers. One adult may attend with a maximum of two children, but we recommend one adult per child for optimum enjoyment and participation. All participants, adults and children, must purchase a ticket.
