Taster Class: Improvers Ballet

Our Improvers class is for those who have already completed Absolute Beginners or are returning to ballet and want reminding of the basics.

Classes are designed to improve technique, develop ballet vocabulary and increase confidence. Building on the basics, classes introduce preparation for turns (pirouettes), jumps (allegro), develop arm movements (port de bras) and explore artistry and musicality.

Come to this one-off taster to explore the class content.

The class is led by highly experienced teacher and dance artist Lucy Lowndes and is accompanied by a pianist. Improvers is open to anyone aged over 18 and there is no upper age limit.

Taster class: Wednesday 14 September, 6.45pm – 8pm (1h15m class), £14
12-class term: Wednesday 21 September – Wednesday 14 December, 6.45pm – 8pm (1h15m classes), £168
