Mulryan Centre for Dance
Named London Building of the Year in 2021 by the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Mulryan Centre for Dance is our state-of-the-art new East London home.
The 93,000 square foot building gives the company the space and facilities needed to continue to develop world-class artists, create new works that push boundaries of ballet and expand our programme of public workshops and classes. The new space has been designed to welcome in the local community, with a public foyer, an exhibition space and The Espresso Room café.
The five-storey building includes seven state of the art, full-sized rehearsal studios, as well as a large production studio with a fly-tower where we can rehearse productions with full set and lighting.
The building also includes a costume workshop, with dye room and shoe room, two learning and engagement spaces, as well as a hydrotherapy pool, gym and pilates studio for our dancers.
